Conceptual device that explores the human desire to be loved. Device #241 aka hug me, is for people who want to feel love but somehow lack “real” human interaction. What is real human interaction? We see all these intimate images of people mostly from screen. Couples holding hands, kissing and so on. In reality when you need some affection but no-real-body is present what do we do? After a break-up we might watch a romance movie to feel warm but also feel sorry for ourselves. Device #241 is a playful satirical comfort device. You hug a giant teddy bear and look into its head to activate scenes of people kissing that end right before the actual kiss or embrace, leaving you dissatisfied yet wanting more.
